VOICE Journal Series

Journals that help young women understand their stories, strengthen their identity, and grow their leadership from within.

Our Purpose

The VOICE series was created to give young women a dedicated space for reflection, healing, and personal growth. Through guided prompts and intentional questions, each journal encourages self awareness, resilience, and the courage to speak with clarity and inner strength.

Grounded in peace and conflict resolution principles, as well as research on cultural identity and first generation leadership, VOICE supports the inner work needed to navigate life with confidence and purpose.

About the Creator

Dr Stacy Estrada Smith is the researcher and creator behind the VOICE Journal Series. Her doctoral research, “The Perception of Leadership from First Generation Latinas in the Eastern Coachella Valley,” explored themes of identity, cultural expectation, resilience, and leadership development.

This work laid the foundation for VOICE, shaping its reflective prompts and culturally grounded approach. Each journal reflects her commitment to helping young women understand their stories, find their voice, and build confidence in who they are becoming.

The Two Editions
